How do I learn about current job openings?

While in the “Employment” tab on the website, click on employment opportunities to get a listing of all vacant positions.

What is the best way to apply for a position?

All applications are online. If applicants do not have internet access at home they are encouraged to visit a local library to apply online.

What are some tips and hints for my application?

Ensure that you complete the application fully, including the best phone numbers to reach you, as well as the past 10 years of employment history including starting and ending dates, mailing addresses, phone and fax numbers. Proofread and review for grammar and spelling.

What are the requirements for a job?

I'm interested in several positions. Do I need to submit a separate application for each one?

Yes. Applicants are reviewed by the appropriate department head for each individual job. There are also specific application requirements for some positions.

What do I do after I submit my application?

Please be patient. After receiving your application, we will review your qualifications for appropriate match with any open positions we currently have. If your application is selected for further consideration based on the qualification required for the position, you will be contacted to set-up an appointment for an interview. If we do not have a current vacancy matching your qualifications, we will retain your application on file for 90 days.

What are the steps in the hiring process?

       1) Complete application
       2) If a conditional job offer is made:
            a) Completion of background authorization and related documents
            b) Applicant will be sent immediately for post-offer drug screen (and D.O.T.  physical if required)
            c) After complete background check including driving history, criminal history, employment
            verifications, drug screening results (and DOT physical results as
            applicable) has been reviewed by the company, applicant will be contacted with
            final hiring decision

What should I keep in mind when preparing for an interview?

Get to know Double Eagle by reviewing materials available on this website.
Be on-time and dress appropriately. Allow enough time to be sent for a drug screen
(and D.O.T. physical if applicable) immediately after interview if offered a position
at that time.
